This is my sixth-year teaching in Homer, but I have been teaching for a total of 39 years. During those years I have taught a variety of subjects and levels. I completed my undergraduate degree at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA and my master degree at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. For the last 34 years I have lived in Moville with my husband Randy. Randy farms, raises feeder cattle and drive semi hauling ag related products. Our four boys are now all grown and out of school but continue to live close to us. This is especially nice since we also have seven grandchildren and are looking forward to two more by the end of January. When I have free time, I enjoys spending it at our condo which is located on East Lake Okoboji in Spirit Lake, IA. I also enjoy reading, scrapbooking and repurposing furniture. Once again this year I will have a new teaching assignment, but having the opportunity to teach some of the students I have had in the previous year and I am also looking forward to getting to know the new students assigned to me.
