Mrs. Uhl, Elementary Principal

Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year! I’m so excited to welcome everyone back to Homer Elementary! I truly believe that every child is capable of success, and it’s through strong collaboration between families, staff, and our school community that we create the best environment for learning and growth. This will be my eleventh year at Homer Community Schools and my fifth year as an administrator. I’m proud to be a 2007 graduate of Homer myself, and I’ve had the joy of teaching a variety of elementary grade levels throughout my time here. I earned both my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and my graduate degree in PK–8 Administration from Wayne State College. My husband, Adam, and I have a ten-year-old daughter, Addalie, who will be starting fourth grade this year. We also have three dogs—Callie, Remie, and Bennie—that help keep life full of energy and fun. In our free time, we enjoy reading, cheering on Husker football, camping, fishing, and spending quality time together as a family. I look forward to a school year filled with connection, learning, and celebration.
